A 1" x 3" x 7" pine board, finished with a UV cure resin (not sanded), then exposed to various time exposures of UVA (primarily 370nm +/-10nm, less than 3% UVB at 312-315nm). Left side was exposed 43 hours, center band was shielded and received no UVA except to cure the finish, the right side was exposed for 20 hours. Exposure done with 4 SunMaster Curall UV resin curing lamp (F32T8 reflector lamp powered at 50 watts. Total UV at surface (as measured with a UVA/B meter) was approximately 15 mW/cm2 for the duration of the tests. Demonstrates the effects of ultraviolet on finished wood surfaces.
